Ballymore Ella 7s

The 2014 QAIHC South Queensland Ella 7's will be held at Ballymore on Saturday the 8th of November.

General information

The tournament is limited to 16 men and 8 women's teams.

All players must be over the age of 18.
Players turning 18 in 2014 can apply for dispensation under the ARU 2 year window application process. These need to be lodged with the organisers before Friday 7 November.

Each team will pay an entrance fee of either $550 which includes
  • 1 training ball
  • 12 Water Bottles
  • Lunch recovery pack including Salad & Meat Roll, piece of fruit, Gatorade drink and chocolate).
Insurance - All players must complete an ARU registration form.
NOTE:
The LMRDT Inc has the same third tier insurance package as the ARU and coverage for players at the tournament for major injury. It does not replace your existing private insurance and is only activated once claims are made against Medicare and your Private Health Fund.  It is the responsibility of players to have private Medical coverage and any top up insurance above what is provided is the responsibility of the individual teams.
Those who wish to enter 2 teams are welcome with the understanding that the 2nd team will be in the same half of the draw as the No1 team.

Principal rules
Each team will consist of 12 players and 2 management staff with a maximum of 2 Non-Aboriginal players.  This means a maximum of five replacements per game (Once replaced, that player cannot return to the field of play. Exceptions made for a blood bin situation).
You will have a minimum of 3 games of Rugby 7's.
The event will be run on Cup & Plate competition and if enough teams nominate a Bowl competition.
All pool, quarter and semi-final, games will be 7 minutes each way
Only the Cup finals in each will be 10 minutes each way with a 2-minute break at half time.

Prize Money
The men's competition Cup winner will receive $5,000 (based on an 16 team event).
In the Women's draw the Cup winner will receive $3,000 (based on an 8 team)

There will also be monetary prizes for the runners up and the minor Plate competition Plate.

Nominations and Payments close on 17 October 2014.
The event remains the ownership of the LMRDT Inc.

  1. It might seem that Renters Insurance coverage is intended for moat people that have do not personal a residence. All depends. Not merely the individuals although condo,Trucking Insurance condominium, family vacation households & university dorms. So that you are thinking about going to college having brand-new and also exciting activities!
